The eligibility Criterias (Class, Family Income, Community and category) set by NSP for Pre-Matric Scholarship scheme for 1st to 10 students is given below:

  • Students should be enrolled in a recognized school in India from Class 1 to Class 10.
  • The annual family income should not exceed ₹2.5 lakh for SC/ST/OBC students and ₹1 lakh for minority students (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, and Parsis)
  • For students with disabilities student need disability certificate issued by a competent medical authority is mandatory for Pre-Matric Scholarship.
  • Renewal students should have secured minimum passing marks in their previous academic year to continue Pre Matric Scholarship Schemes.

Scholarship Amount and Benefits

The students who are from SC/ST students get ₹225 per month for hostellers and ₹100 per month for day scholar in NSP Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme. Minority students get scholarship of ₹1,000 per annum for day scholars and ₹3,000 per annum for hostellers under this Scholarship scheme. Student who have Disability certificate amd study in class 1st to 10th gets higher scholarship as compared to other categories. The Pre-Matric scholarship is disbursed directly into the student’s bank account through DBT.
