Eligibility Criteria for AICTE Swanath Scholarship 2025

To get AICTE Swanath Scholarship 2025 the candidate should have all Criterias as below – These criteria help that Swanath scholarship reaches the most deserving candidates:

1. Category Requirement – The candidate must belong to one of the following groups: Orphans (both parents deceased). Students who lost parents due to COVID-19 and Wards of Armed Forces or Central Paramilitary Forces personnel martyred in action (Shaheed certificate required).
2. The student should be pursuing a full-time Degree/Diploma in an AICTE-approved institution.
3. Non-Beneficiary of Other Scholarships – Applicants should not be receiving any other Central/State/AICTE-sponsored scholarships.
4. Aadhaar-Linked Bank Account – Mandatory for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) of scholarship funds.

Scholarship Benefits and Duration

• Scholarship Amount: ₹50,000 per year (lump sum for academic expenses).
• Duration – Degree Students: Up to 4 years (for 1st-year entrants) or reduced duration for lateral entries. Diploma Students: Up to 3 years (for 1st-year entrants) or reduced tenure for advanced-year students.

Documents Required for Application

Applicants should upload the following documents on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) which AICTE Swanath Application Form:

1. Death Certificate(s) – For orphans/COVID-affected parents/martyred defense personnel.
2. Income Certificate – Valid proof of family income (≤ ₹8 lakh).
3. Academic Records – 10th & 12th mark sheets (for Degree) or 10th marks (for Diploma).
4. Bonafide Certificate – Issued by the current institution.
5. Aadhaar Card & Bank Details – For DBT disbursement.
6. Category Certificate (if applicable) – SC/ST/OBC-NCL proof.

2. Register/Login – New users must create an account; existing users can log in.
3. Fill Application Form – Enter personal, academic, and bank details accurately.

Selection Criteria and Tie-Breaking Rules

• Degree Students: Selection based on 12th marks; ties are resolved by 10th marks, age and family income.
• Diploma Students: Selection based on 10th marks and ties are resolved by age and income.

1. Can a student apply for Santh program if already getting another scholarship?

No – The AICTE Swanath Scholarship is exclusive to students not availing any other Central/State/AICTE-funded aid.

2. What if my application is rejected due to errors?

31st October 2025 – This is the deadline set by AICTE upto which candidates can re-submit App. Form or new applications.
